Well, after a rather warm and mild November and December, winter has arrived in our neighborhood this week. On Sunday I got up to freezing rain and snow. The "weather" has continued and the temps are down in the single and low double digits. NOW it feels like winter. We bought a load of firewood the other day, and I expect we will have many a roaring fire in the house over the next couple of months. The fireplace, a glass of wine, and snuggling with that special someone are my favorite parts of winter. Now if I didn't have to go anywhere until April, all would be well. Celebrate winter and remember that Spring is coming (sooner or later).

Winter is HERE!
