Happy Friday everyone. It is early in the morning and I am up a bit earlier than usual. I thought I'd use this extra time to check in with all you bloggers. I looked out and saw that it has been snowing in the night, so it will be the joy of de-snowing the car before going to work this morning -- oh fun! I am looking forward to tonight as it will be the first evening this week that Ben and I have been home at the same time. I moved here to be with him and we've both been busy all week -- I think they call that "life". Thankfully, waking early this morning had its benefits and it will be a brighter day for it. Work continues to be work -- I'm still waiting for my id badge, passwords and more, and am working on a computer on someone else's ID. I feel like the stepchild who hasn't quite blended in yet. Everyone has been very nice and I am getting along with them all so far -- though the gay issue hasn't come up -- not that I am hiding, it just hasn't come up yet. I'm sure it will and they will have to deal with it. The paycheck this week was a wonderful experience. It was more money than I've had in the bank at one time in several years. This job won't make me rich, but it's nice to be able to go out to eat or buy gas without having to count pennies. This is the first time in five years that I have received a forty hour (or more) paycheck and it feels good. So, it is now time to go get the morning coffee, take a shower, get ready and go to work. Eight hours later I can come home and hit the weekend. Hope you all enjoy your Friday. Hugs!!!
