Did You??
Ben and I went and voted this morning. It only took a few minutes and was painless. If you haven't done it yet, get busy -- it is a right and a responsibility, and with the way things are in this country right now it is ESSENTIAL!! GO VOTE. (unless you are a Republican! -- LOL)
What a glorious feeling to be able to stand and wait in the chill of the morning air to participate in the selection of our government! What a gift our forefathers have given us!
Contrary to popular belief there is no constitutional right to vote. The privilege of voting is extended by the state in which you live. The 15th and 26th amendments to the constitution only guarantee that you will not be discriminated against.
